Have a Happy Handmade Christmas

With the financial constraints that being a student all year brings, I decided to make/buy cheap stuff and make them look cool for Christmas! I then made boxes from cardboard, covered them, borrowed a shredder and filled the boxes with shredded wrapping paper, filled them with all the goodies I made/pimped out and wrapped the hamper with cellophane. A lot/all of my ideas came from pins I saved on Pinterest. I underestimated how time-consuming all this was. I had to (painstakingly) remove stickers, wash and dry bottles, spray caps, and fill them with heaps (and heaps) of lollies. Worth it? Oh yes!

After hunting the house down for different sized round things to trace the circles, I wanted to buy myself a stencil or compass for Christmas. The fact that I got to eat the leftover Jaffas, I'd make them again any day.

I don't have a proper stamp set so I cut up some foam trays and made some preschool-style. These are what the cards looked like that I gave out this year. I'm honestly not the biggest fan, so luckily I only gave them out to family so they had to love them ;) I'm therefore very excited to get a lovely alphabet stamp set I ordered from etsy.com last week.
